CSR Viridian Interior & Decorative

With a priority audience of Architects and Interior Designers in mind it is to suggest and inspire – not to dictate that is foremost in the solution for this product collateral. As a result our concepts represent what the product could do – its possibilities and potential – rather than stating what it is for or has been used for in the past. These individual qualities or attributes then informed the visual solution.

Prior to commencing any design work, Nexus Designs consulted with CSR Viridian on a Product Naming strategy for the five categories and 18 products within the new Interior & Decorative glass range. The idea of light interplaying with glass and how it could colour, diffuse, reflect, image, layer and interact was discussed. Category names were developed using these interactions as inspiration – Colour, Luminance, Reflectance, Projection, Texture and Innovation – then further developed to provide strong, unique and memorable Range names – Spectra, Lumina, Mirra, Pixa, Scala and Futura respectively.
