Set for Life

Bauhaus inspired and timeless in form and function, the stackable Thomas TC100 glazed porcelain crockery set was a 1959 thesis project for then student designer Hans Roericht at the School of Design in Ulm, Germany. Going into commercial production in 1962, the TC100 set immediately became part of MoMA’s permanent collection in New York, and in the late 1980s became part of the Nexus family too.

Our beloved cups, saucers, sugar pot and jugs are still used today, and despite a few breakages over the years and the threat of alternative tea room options, these are still a firm favourite of our Managing Director Michael Malignaggi, who takes his tea strong, with a dash of milk!
